Experimental, Numerical, and Theoretical Studies of Bond Behavior of Reinforced Fly Ash-Based Geopolymer Concrete

This paper presents the results of an experiment study and suggests a theoretical formulation for bond behavior reinforced fly ash-based geopolymer concrete. Three grades (20 MPa, 30 MPa 40 MPa) concrete along with three reinforcement diameters (12, 16, 20 mm) were selected experimental work. The is determined using pullout test, finite element analysis (FEA), test data indicated that strength increases about 1.97 to 2.56 times increase compressive from 20.33 41.12 MPa. For grade specimens, cover diameter ratio (c/db) increased up 4.19 resulted in strength. Then, decreases c/db 5.75, while specimens vice versa. bond-slip relations between FEA good agreement results. coefficient variation (CoV) only 0.01. However, this quite different calculated by fib model.
